Job summary

STA Family of Companies in Woodbury, CT is seeking a part-time school bus driver to transport students safely on established routes. Training is provided and you will work with a local management team to support safe operations.

Candidates must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check; CDL is encouraged but not required upfront. Schedule is Monday–Friday with 25–30 hours per week and a starting pay rate of $24.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Minimum of 5 years verifiable driving history.
• Clean driving record within the last 24-36 months.
• Ability and willingness to obtain a CDL.
• Pre-employment background checks.

Come join our team! As a school bus driver, you will have the support of a dedicated, local management team and the training needed to perform your job safely, and with care. Bus drivers are responsible for the safe delivery of students to and from school along set routes, adherence to school bus safety and bus stop safety standards, and daily vehicle inspections, among other duties.
