Job summary

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Must complete Bus Manager training program.
• Must meet health and driving qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, timely transportation of students and authorized personnel.
• Operate the school bus in compliance with laws, GCPS policies, and Transportation protocol.
• Monitor student behavior and enforce rules to maintain safety.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure cleanliness and safety of the bus.
• Attend zone staff meetings and complete required staff development.
