Job summary

Shiprock Associated Schools, Inc. in Shiprock, NM is seeking a Bus Driver who can also support Custodian, Food Service, or Clerical Aide duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL Class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsements and clean driving record.
• Must pass a DOT physical exam and drug/alcohol screening.
• Knowledge of routine maintenance and pre/post-trip inspections for school buses.
• Must have or obtain First Aid/CPR/AED for all ages and Navajo Nation Food Handler's permit.
• Bilingual Navajo and English preferred.
• Must meet minimum physical requirements: sit, stand, lift at least 50 lbs, reach, kneel, bend.
• Position may be combined with Support Services (Custodian, Food Service, Clerical Aide); if only Bus Driver, part-time only.
• Must pass background checks for NM, Navajo Nation, and FBI.
