Job summary

Farmington Municipal Schools is seeking a School Bus Driver to safely transport students, staff, and others to and from school, field trips, and activities in Farmington, NM. We will provide training to obtain a Class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.

The driver will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain bus cleanliness, and follow district policies to ensure student safety at all times. Additional duties include keeping accurate records, obeying traffic laws, and participating

Qualifications

• Valid DMV license and CDL Class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
• Ability to operate a school bus safely and follow district policies.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain student discipline.
• Ability to perform pre-trip inspections and daily bus maintenance checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives the school bus on designated routes during school days.
• Transports students and staff on field trips and activities.
• Inspects bus daily and ensures safe, clean condition.
• Maintains records and reports incidents as required.
• Drills on bus evacuation and safety procedures.
