Job summary

Licking Heights School District is seeking bus driver substitutes in Pataskala, Ohio. This part-time role requires a State of Ohio Class B CDL with S and P endorsements and a high school diploma. You will transport students safely, maintain orderly seating and logs, and follow district policies.

Qualifications

• Ohio CDL with S and P endorsements required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds daily; able to meet breathing and vision requirements.

Responsibilities

• Observe all safety regulations and traffic laws daily.
• Notify mechanic immediately in case of mechanical failure.
• Maintain an up-to-date seating chart as required by law.
• Submit accident reports to Transportation Supervisor promptly after return.
• Keep bus interior clean daily and exterior cleaned monthly when weather permits.
• Transport only authorized students to authorized stops and follow prearranged changes.
• Maintain a professional and cooperative attitude with staff, students, and families.
• Participate in required in-service training programs as mandated.

Education

State of Ohio Class B commercial driver’s license with S and P endorsements

High school diploma or equivalent

Appropriate state of Ohio certification/license
