Job summary

Zūm Services, Inc. is seeking a school bus driver to safely transport students to and from school using Zūm’s technology platform. You will operate modern buses, adhere to regulations, and maintain punctual routes while fostering a positive, safe environment for children.

Candidates should be at least 21, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be legally eligible to work in the United States. CDL training is provided for non-certified drivers, with full benefits and guaranteed daily hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• For certified drivers: valid CDL with P and S endorsements and related experience.
• For non-certified drivers: valid driver’s license with 5+ years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned vehicles and follow company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues promptly.
• Maintain routes and schedules with professionalism and punctuality.

Key responsibilities

• For certified drivers: Valid CDL with P and S endorsements and any state-required certifications and 5+ years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle required(WAC 392-144-101)
• For non-certified drivers: Valid driver’s license with 5+ years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle required (WAC 392-144-101)
• Willing to obtain a CDL and meet state and federal requirements, with training provided
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
• Ability to work split shifts
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children
