Job summary

Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes is seeking a dedicated school bus driver to transport students daily along established TERS routes and supervise them on board. Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Commercial driver's license with school bus endorsement by start date.
• Excellent driving record.
• Must pass drug test and background check including fingerprinting.
• Knowledge of Flathead Reservation roads and Montana traffic laws helpful.
• Willing to promote a drug- and alcohol-free program.
• Team player and cooperative.
• Experience with Native American youth a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transport students to and from school daily on established TERS routes; supervise students on bus.
• Transport students and staff for field trips, school activities, athletic events, and after-school activities.
• Maintain reliable and safe transportation; perform basic vehicle maintenance.
• Maintain attendance forms and mileage logs as required by TERS policies.
• Other duties as per job description.
