Job summary

Bethel Park School District is seeking a dependable School Bus Driver to transport students and staff to and from school, field trips, and activities. Under the supervision of the Director of Facilities, the driver will operate a bus along designated routes, ensuring safety and punctuality.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, maintenance reporting, student supervision, and participation in safety drills. Prior CDL with school bus endorsement and bilingual ability are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Prior bus driving experience in a school district preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives a school bus on designated routes per schedule.
• Transports students and staff to events and field trips.
• Performs pre-trip inspections to ensure bus is safe.
• Maintains order and discipline on the bus.
• Reports mechanical issues and accidents promptly.
• Assists with bus drills and safety procedures.
