Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts Class B license with S and P endorsements.
• Must be licensed by the Massachusetts RMV.
• Valid DOT School Bus Certificate.
• First Aid CPR Certified.
• Ability to pass random alcohol and drug tests.
• Ability to complete required Bus/Van safety training.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of student discipline procedures.
• Ability to manage student behavior.
• Ability to operate a Bus/Minibus/Van.
• CDL and bus driver certificate required.
• Subject to national background check (CORI, SORI, SAFIS).
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• High School/Trade School degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus, minibus/van transporting students and other personnel.
• Provide safe and orderly transportation on assigned routes.
• Follow district safety and discipline policies for students.
