The Office of Transportation and Fleet Management Services is seeking a Bus Driver to transport schoolchildren and authorized personnel safely to and from schools and events. Training will be provided to earn a Virginia CDL, with paid time during classroom and behind-the-wheel training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of Bus Driver Training Program by the school system
• Yearly physical examination as required by state regulations

Responsibilities

• Operate and transport students safely to and from schools and events according to schedule.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain routes, unload/load students at authorized stops and report issues.
