Job summary

Drivergent Transportation is seeking a School Bus Driver to safely transport students in Sterling Heights, MI. The role requires CDL with appropriate endorsements, RESA, and a High School diploma, and offers a 6-hour workday with benefits.

Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, maintaining route on time, and assisting students with care and safety while staying professional with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• RESA certification required.
• CDL Class A or B with Passenger, School Bus and Air Brake Endorsements.
• Michigan State Education Card required.
• Minimum age 21 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students per district policies and state/federal laws.
• Manage and maintain order of students on the bus.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain on-time routing and communicate delays.
• Assist passengers in emergencies and evacuations.
