Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time LifeWise vehicle driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for public school students to and from LifeWise sites. The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual, and maintains a clean driving record.

Responsibilities include transporting students, obeying traffic laws, keeping the bus clean and safe, performing inspections, refueling as needed, and supporting LifeWise classroom activities when invited by the Director.

Qualifications

• Must possess a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church with aligned doctrine.
• Regular driver's license, with at least three years licensed.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault incidents in 5 years.
• Background check and annual physician's statement if medically required.
• Drug/alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children and enforce rules.
• Assist students entering/exiting and support classroom activities when directed.
