Job summary

Rohrer Bus is seeking a School Bus Driver to transport Cumberland Valley School District students safely and on time. You will perform daily pre-trip checks, document maintenance, and manage student conduct per district policy.

Must hold a valid CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements, pass background and drug screening, and be prepared for regional travel. Experience with fleet tech like Samsara and Dayforce is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class A or B with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements; no Air Brake restriction.
• DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate; knowledge of state and local traffic laws.
• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Transport students safely and courteously following traffic laws and policies.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness and fuel/mileage logs.
• Report maintenance needs promptly and manage student behavior as required.
• Attend safety meetings and ensure on-time arrival for routes and field trips.
