JOB TITLE: School Bus Driver

REPORTS TO: Transportation

COMPENSATION: Pays up to $30 per hour

JOB TYPE: Part-Time

Part-Time School Bus Driver (SY 24-25)

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Possesses valid Commercial Driver's License with a minimum of three years of safe driving experience as verified by submitting a copy of the Division of Motor Vehicle driver abstract.
3. Must possess a valid Class B CDL license with either having or being able to obtain the P and S endorsements. Airbrake endorsement is preferred but not required.
4. Good physical health.
5. Passes required a Criminal History Review and provide proof of U.S citizenship or legal resident status.
6. Possesses a sufficient mechanical aptitude to diagnose minor problems and make appropriate repairs.
7. Demonstrates excellent integrity and good moral character with verifiable references.
8. Demonstrates the ability to maintain passenger discipline to ensure student safety.
9. Demonstrates the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
10. Exhibits a personality that demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community.
