Zūm Services, Inc. in Providence County, RI is hiring a School Bus Driver to transport students safely along assigned routes using Zūm’s technology platform.

You must be at least 21, have a high school diploma or equivalent, be legally authorized to work in the United States, and obtain CDL with P and S endorsements if certified, or have 5+ years of driving with a standard license if not. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• For certified drivers: Valid CDL with P and S endorsements and appropriate state certifications plus 5+ years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle.
• For non-certified drivers: Valid driver’s license with 5+ years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle.
• Willing to obtain a CDL with training provided.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned vehicles and follow company policies and regulatory requirements

• Maintain routes and schedules with professionalism and punctuality

• At least 21 years of age

• For certified drivers: Valid CDL with P and S endorsements and any state-required certifications and 5+ years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle required(WAC 392-144-101)
• For non-certified drivers: Valid driver’s license with 5+ years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle required (WAC 392-144-101)
• Willing to obtain a CDL and meet state and federal requirements, with training provided
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
• Ability to work split shifts
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children
