Job summary

Petermann Bus in Tallmadge, OH is hiring for a Driver in Training (Non-CDL). Trainees will be trained to obtain the required Driver endorsements and learn company policies. Upon successful completion, you will transition into a Non-CDL Driver role with a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old (25+ in Tennessee).
• Must possess or obtain valid state license and required certifications to operate company vehicles.
• Must meet physical/medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening.
• Must complete and pass all training.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus or vehicle with fixed or changing routes to provide safe transportation.
• Maintain on-time performance while ensuring safety.
• Assist passengers during evacuations in emergencies.
• Complete paperwork and submit to appropriate authority in a timely manner.
• Adhere to company policies and promote goodwill with staff and passengers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
