Job summary

Aiken County Public Schools in North Augusta, SC is seeking a Full-Time School Bus Driver (180 Days) to join our transportation team.

You will safely transport students, follow routes, and perform pre/post-trip inspections, ensuring a secure and friendly daily experience for our young riders. Training is provided; a valid SC license is required, with CDL endorsements preferred, and a clean driving record is essential.

Qualifications

• A valid SC driver's license is required; CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements are preferred.
• Clean driving record and commitment to safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and activities.
• Follow scheduled routes and maintain timely arrivals/departures.
• Ensure student safety during boarding, riding, and exiting the bus.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections of the bus.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff as needed.
