Job summary

Aiken County Public Schools in North Augusta, SC is seeking a Full-Time School Bus Driver (180 Days) to join our transportation team.

You will safely transport students, follow routes, and perform pre/post-trip inspections, ensuring a secure and friendly daily experience for our young riders. Training is provided; a valid SC license is required, with CDL endorsements preferred, and a clean driving record is essential.

Qualifications

• A valid SC driver's license is required; CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements are preferred.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
• Follow scheduled routes while maintaining timely arrivals and departures.
• Ensure the safety of all students while boarding, riding, and exiting the bus.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in excellent working condition.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff when needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• A valid SC driver’s license (commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsements preferred, but we offer FREE training!).
• A clean driving record and commitment to safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
