Job summary

DATTCO is hiring experienced School Bus Drivers for our Cranston, RI location. Split shift, part-time guaranteed 20 hours per week, with AM + PM pickups and drop-offs. Locations may include Pawtucket and Cranston.

We offer paid holidays, 401k with company match, and opportunities for growth within the DATTCO family. Qualified applicants must be 21+, have 3+ years of driving with a valid license, possess RI CDL Class B with P and S endorsements, and pass background and DOT drug testing.

Qualifications

• Must have at least three consecutive years of driving experience with a valid driver’s license.
• Must meet Rhode Island DMV, school district, and DATTCO eligibility standards.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment screening including background checks and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school on assigned routes.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report concerns.
• Follow all traffic laws, routes, and school district safety procedures.
