Job summary

Rolling V Bus Corp is seeking a School Bus Driver to safely transport students in Sullivan County, NY. You will follow a set daily schedule, perform inspections, and maintain a clean, orderly bus while addressing issues with parents, students, and staff.

Starting rate is $24.00 per hour with both full-time and part-time opportunities. CDL training is offered after permit, and the role emphasizes safety, reliability, and positive interaction with the school community.

Qualifications

Complete NYS and Federal documents including background checks for working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities.
Provide valid forms of ID for employment.
Permit company to contact three references.
Provide a history of residential addresses.

Responsibilities

Safely operate the school bus in compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Clean the bus as required.
Report maintenance issues promptly.
Pick up and drop off students according to a set schedule.
Ensure students understand their responsibilities as passengers.
Maintain order and discipline on the bus.
Document and report any behavioral or disciplinary issues.
