Job summary

Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School Transportation is seeking School Bus Drivers in Danvers, MA. The role involves AM/PM routes, late runs, and field trips with a strong emphasis on student safety and reliable reporting to the Transportation Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required or preferred.
• Class A or B CDL license required.
• Passenger and school bus endorsement required.
• Clean driving record and valid medical card required.
• First Aid and CPR certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be attentive to traffic and weather conditions to ensure passenger safety.
• Follow the planned route and schedule for departures and stops.
• Conduct mandatory pre and post trip vehicle inspections.
• Report routine maintenance or repairs to the Manager of Transportation.
• Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and passenger counts; report delays or incidents.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure passenger safety on the bus.
