Job summary

Zūm Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated school bus driver in the United States to transport students to and from school safely using Zūm’s platform. You will operate vehicles, perform inspections, and maintain reliable routes with a focus on safety and punctuality.

Requirements include 21+ years old, HS diploma, legal work authorization, and a clean driving record. CDL endorsements are needed for certified drivers; training is provided for CDL where required.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• For certified drivers: Valid CDL with P and S endorsements and any state-required certifications and 5+ years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle (WAC 392-144-101).
• For non-certified drivers: Valid driver’s license with 5+ years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle (WAC 392-144-101).
• Willing to obtain a CDL and meet state/federal requirements, with training provided.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
• Ability to work split shifts.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned vehicles and follow company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues promptly.
• Maintain routes and schedules with professionalism and punctuality.
• Create a safe, positive environment for students and ensure passenger safety.
