Job summary

University Prep is seeking a Part-Time or Full-Time School Bus Driver (CDL or Non-CDL) to operate a before-school shuttle and morning field trips on defined routes in Seattle, WA. The role includes traffic control, crosswalk monitoring, and basic bus maintenance, with a typical schedule 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

on school days. Candidates may hold CDL with Passenger endorsements or pursue CDL; experience with children is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record.
• Experience with kids is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a national flagger certification.

Responsibilities

• Drive before-school shuttle and morning field trips as assigned.
• Assist with traffic control and crosswalk monitoring during drop-off.
• Perform pre-trip safety inspections and routine bus maintenance.
• Report maintenance needs to Transportation Manager and Director of Facilities.
• Keep bus clean and fuels vehicles as needed.
• Comply with all school policies and safety procedures.
