The driver will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain a safe bus environment, and communicate professionally with families and staff, while upholding MOXIE's values and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
• Endorsements must be in hand before carrying students; willing to earn S endorsement via paid training.
• Clean driving record; ability to pass DOT physical, background checks, and fingerprinting.
• Patience, warmth, and genuine care for kids.

Responsibilities

• Transport students to and from school on an assigned route, safely and on time.
• Create a safe, welcoming bus environment and build positive relationships with students.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow traffic laws and MOXIE safety procedures at all times.
• Respond calmly to student needs and emergencies; prioritize safety.
• Support occasional field trips and school activities; communicate with families and staff.
• Assist with midday school support duties as schedules allow.
• Participate in summer tasks like bus care and back-to-school setup.
