Job summary

TM Bus Inc is seeking a dedicated school bus driver to safely operate routes and ensure student safety. You will conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, assist students with boarding and exiting, and maintain schedules and discipline on board.

You must hold a CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements, pass background checks, and communicate with dispatch and school staff about routes and delays. Training and development are available in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with passenger (P) and school bus (S) endorsements.
• Must pass background checks and drug screenings.
• Strong communication and safety awareness required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school bus along assigned routes per laws and schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report issues promptly.
• Pickup and drop off students on time at designated stops.
• Maintain discipline and student safety on board.
• Use safety equipment as required (mirrors, seat belts, emergency exits, wheelchair lifts if applicable).
• Follow state/district regulations for school bus operation and student transportation.
• Communicate with dispatch, school staff, and parents about routes, delays, or incidents.
• Complete attendance logs, incident reports, mileage logs.
• Assist students with boarding/exiting, including those with special needs.
• Respond calmly to emergencies (medical, mechanical, weather-related).
• Keep the bus clean and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain a valid CDL with passenger (P) and school bus (S) endorsements, and pass required background checks/drug screenings.

• Complete required paperwork (attendance logs, incident reports, mileage logs)
