Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a School Bus Driver to safely transport students to and from school and activities, following all safety protocols and ensuring orderly conduct.

Applicants should have a valid CDL with passenger endorsement, a clean driving record, and strong communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff. This full-time, in-person role includes benefits and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Experience in bus or commercial driving, preferably school transport.
• Good communication with children, parents, and staff.
• CDL with passenger endorsement preferred; clean driving record.
• Ability to write transportation reports and maintain records.

• Follow all transportation-related federal, state, and local regulations

Role Overview:

A School Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and related activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and effective behavior management.

• Transport students to designated locations, including schools, extracurricular activities, and events
• Enforce behavior policies and maintain order on the bus to ensure passenger safety

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven or preferred experience in bus or commercial driving, especially in school transportation or paratransit services
• Strong communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and minor troubleshooting is advantageous
• Experience working with children or in childcare enhances understanding of student needs
• Multilingual abilities or experience in caregiving or teaching can be beneficial
• Valid driver's license with a clean record; CDL with passenger endorsement preferred
• Ability to write reports or documentation related to transportation activities
