Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus safely and reliably on assigned routes.
• Maintain high ethical standards and report suspicious behavior.
• Report for duty on time and maintain schedule.
• Assist passengers during emergencies.
• Report accidents or incidents immediately.
• Follow policies for student and passenger management.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork timely.
• Work cooperatively with colleagues and promote goodwill.
• Use vehicle equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements include:

• Minimum age 21 (or 25 for Tennessee).
• Valid applicable driver’s license and certifications.
• Meet physical and medical requirements, pass substance screening.
• Satisfactorily complete training.
• Practice defensive driving and safe work habits.
• Comply with all driver requirements and policies.
