All applicants for a Driver position, including those fully qualified with a CDL, start as a Driver in Training. We invest heavily in training and development to ensure our drivers are the best in the business. During training, drivers will obtain their CDL and learn company policies. Upon successful completion, they will transition to a Professional Driver role.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing safe transportation by operating school buses or other vehicles along fixed or changing routes.
• Exhibiting high ethical standards and reporting suspicious or inappropriate behavior.
• Reporting on time and maintaining route schedules safely.
• Assisting passengers in emergencies.
• Reporting accidents or incidents promptly.
• Following company policies on passenger management.
• Maintaining a professional appearance.
• Completing required paperwork promptly.
• Promoting a cooperative attitude among staff and passengers.
• Safely using vehicle equipment including wheelchair lifts and radios.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements include:

• Must be at least 21 years old; 25 in Tennessee.
• Possess or be able to obtain valid state licenses and certifications.
• Meet physical and medical requirements and pass substance screening.
• Complete and pass all training programs.
• Practice defensive driving at all times.
• Comply with all applicable driver requirements.
