Job summary

Reliant Student Transport, LLC is hiring School Bus Drivers in Minnesota. No prior school bus driving experience is required as paid training is provided. Responsibilities include driving routes safely, performing pre-trip inspections, assisting students, and delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver\'s license, a clean driving record, good English communication, and the ability to write reports and maintain records. Background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.
• No prior school bus driving experience required; training provided.
• Basic mechanical understanding to perform pre-trip inspections.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English; multilingual skills are a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to write reports and maintain accurate records.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
• Experience in childcare or working with children is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a vehicle along assigned routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Assist passengers, including children and those with disabilities, during boarding and disembarking.
• Maintain accurate records of passenger counts, mileage, and any incidents that occur during the route.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or passenger needs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
