Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus on designated routes to ensure timely pickup and drop-off.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
• Maintain discipline and ensure student safety during transit.
• Assist students in boarding and exiting the bus safely.
• Perform emergency drills and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Keep the bus clean, fueled, and maintain mileage/fuel records.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and transportation officials.
• Follow supervisor instructions and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

CDL License with school bus endorsement required. Must have a current PA license and a clean driving record. The position requires an individual to have a thorough knowledge of the southeastern Pennsylvania region and be able to drive all posted routes, as well as perform all physical duties and carry out other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor. Must be flexible.

Terms of employment:

Approximately 4hours per day depending on run selected/assigned. Position following the School District calendar. Hours may vary depending on need.
