Responsibilities

• Adjust schedules/routes for traffic, weather, or emergencies.
• Maintain records of driver assignments and route changes.
• Assist with payroll preparation.
• Answer inquiries from parents, school officials, and staff regarding schedules and delays.
• Collaborate with school admins to resolve issues.
• Ensure safety regulations and district policies are followed.
• Train new drivers on routes and communications.
• Use transportation software and GPS to monitor bus locations.
• Document incidents, accidents, or maintenance needs promptly.
• Acquire and maintain CDL with S and P endorsements; may drive school bus.
• Fill in as a school bus driver when needed.
