Job summary

The Napavine School District is hiring a Bus Aide for 3.5 hours daily (6:45 am–8:30 am and 2:45 pm–4:30 pm). The role involves monitoring student behavior on the bus, assisting the driver with loading and unloading handicapped students, and transporting students when needed.

Reports to the Transportation Supervisor and requires applicable certifications. Applicants must meet minimum requirements including a high school diploma or GED, a Washington background check, fingerprint check, valid WA

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have Washington background and fingerprint checks.
• Valid Washington Driver’s License and First Aid/ CPR certifications are required.
• Compliance with all district rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor student behavior on the school bus and prepare behavior incident reports.
• Assist the driver with loading and unloading handicapped students.
• Transport students by district-owned vehicle when deemed necessary by the district.
• Report to Transportation Supervisor.
