Job summary

Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. is seeking a Bus Aide to support safe transportation and early learning for children aged 0-5. You will assist the Bus Driver and Custodian, supervise children, and deliver age-appropriate activities that align with classroom goals.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED; CDA is preferred and six months’ experience with young children is desirable. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, with AZ driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CDA is preferred.
• Experience with children ages 0-5 is preferred (six months).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bus Driver/Facilities Custodian to ensure children observe safety rules on the school bus.
• Provide educational activities which complement the children’s classroom education.
• Provide clear directives to children regarding conduct and safety on the bus.
• Promote school readiness by preparing children and families for school and life success.
