General Summary:
Pupil Transportation aims to provide dependable, efficient, and safe transportation services. The School Bus Aide monitors student conduct on buses, assists with discipline and safety, and performs related duties. Work is primarily supervised, routine, and within a specific area.
Starting pay is $19.65/hour, based on education and experience. It is a part-time 20-29 hours/week, non-exempt position with pro-rated benefits. Benefits include paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, health insurance, life insurance, retirement options, gym reimbursement, and training opportunities.
Knowledge of student conduct on buses, observation skills, rule enforcement, relationship building with riders, and ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
Standard environment; occasional lifting of 50+ lbs; physical ability to perform tasks like sitting long periods, reaching, bending, climbing, and evacuating passengers.
