Job description

We are looking for a school bus aide to care for students being transported to and from school in 7‑passenger minivans. The ideal candidate is caring, compassionate, patient, and experienced with children. The position requires a clean criminal background appropriate for working with school‑aged children and the ability to speak English. Training is provided and there is an opportunity to advance to a school bus driver.

Responsibilities

• Maintain order on the bus and ensure the safety of children.
• Assist children on and off the bus.
• Buckle children into seatbelts, harnesses, or other safety devices.
• Communicate with families, school officials, and company dispatch in a professional manner.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• Split shifts:

• AM Shift – 1–3 hours in the morning.
• Mid Shift – 30 minutes to 1 hour when available.
• PM Route – 1–3 hours in the afternoon.

Pay

Per route, typically $40 to $91 per day.

Qualifications

• Patience and experience with children.
• No criminal background disqualifying from working with school‑aged children.
• English language proficiency.
