Shelby County Schools in Cordova, TN seeks a skilled Behavioral Specialist to assist in prevention and intervention of disruptive behaviors among students. You will coordinate diagnostic, educational and therapeutic services for students, families, and staff, and assist teachers with classroom management and de-escalation strategies.

The role includes crisis counseling, data collection, and maintaining records, reporting major activities in periodic meetings.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in school psychology, psychology, social work, or related field with two years of experience.
• Proof of education, training, and/or experience required; valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to coordinate diagnostic, educational and therapeutic services and support teachers in classroom management.
