Job summary

Sheppard Pratt School in Glyndon is seeking a School Behavior Specialist for a Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm, in-person role. The campus serves K–12 students with diverse needs on a 43-acre site featuring trails, a greenhouse, and a sensory-friendly playground.

Responsibilities include completing functional behavioral assessments, developing and revising intervention plans, training staff, and supervising other specialists. Master’s in ABA or related field is required; BCBA/LBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of behavior analysis and psychiatric terminology.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Two to three years of behavior assessment and management experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete functional behavioral assessments and behavioral intervention plans for caseload.
• Prepare Positive Behavior Support and Management Plans and train staff.
• Supervise Assistant Behavior Specialist(s) and Resource Specialist(s).
• Collaborate with education and treatment teams and serve as a resource to teachers, staff, and families.
