Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, special education or related field.
  • Master’s degree in one of the above fields is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavioral Analysis required.
  • Experience with intervention models and behavior management in school settings.

Responsibilities

  • Counsel, assess and develop programmatic modifications for students with serious adjustment issues.
  • Collaborate with staff on programming for identified students.
  • Inform and communicate with team members and parents.
  • Develop behavioral objectives for IEPs and participate in case conferences as needed.
  • Maintain records on referred students and follow up on recommendations.
  • Provide training in ABA techniques and data collection.
  • Work with students directly, including crisis management.
