School-Based Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PLPC, LMSW, PLMFT)

Location: Multiple school districts throughout Southwest Missouri, including Springfield, Republic, Willard, Nixa, Ozark, Marshfield, Clever, Branson, Reeds Spring, Hollister, Blue Eye, Crane, Galena, Kimberling City (availability subject to location).

Role Overview

Join our team of School-Based Therapists at Centerstone / Burrell Behavioral Health. You will work directly in public school settings, providing mental health support to students to build resilience and improve academic performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to students in a school setting.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Respond to crisis situations and offer immediate support.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and community resources.
• Participate in case staffing and treatment planning sessions.
• Serve as a liaison to ensure coordinated care for students and families.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Licensed or provisionally licensed in Missouri (PLPC, LMSW, PLMFT, LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Passion for working with children, families, and schools.
• Preferred: Experience providing individual, group, or family therapy in school‑based or community mental health settings.

Schedule & Lifestyle

• Daytime hours aligned with the school calendar.
• Predictable schedule with options for year‑round or 10–11 month rotations after a probationary period.

Compensation & Earnings Potential

• PLPC / LMSW / PLMFT: Starting at $55,852.
• LPC / LCSW / LMFT: Starting at $70,202.
• Performance bonuses: Up to $12,000 annually.
• Sign‑on bonus available based on location for external candidates.
• NHSC approved site: Eligible for tax‑free student loan repayment.
