Job summary

Christian Children's Home of Ohio is seeking a School-Based Therapist (PT/FT) to partner with school officials in providing mental health and case management services to students and families at assigned schools. This position starts as Part-Time, with potential to transition to Full-Time.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or family mental health counseling and appropriate and effective evidence-based therapeutic interventions according to the client's treatment plan.
• Complete MHAs, including accurate mental health diagnoses.
• Complete treatment plans (ITPs) in collaboration with client.
• Complete timely and well-written documentation. Progress notes should be completed and signed daily, or within 24 hours for billing purposes.
• Participate in Peer/case review, supervision, and other quality improvement activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's level Social Worker (LSW) - Master's degree strongly preferred - or Master's level Counselor (LPC), with independent licensure preferred (LISW or LPCC, respectively).
• Experience working with students and families strongly preferred.

This position is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of all of the following: background checks (fingerprints required), drug test, reference checks, Department of Justice National sex offender search, Ohio (and other states of residence) Alleged Perpetrator Search, as well as other checks as required by our licensing agency.
