Job summary

Encompass Christian Counseling seeks an Outpatient Therapist/Mental Health Counselor who compassionately works with clients to address anxiety, trauma, depression, and relationship difficulties.

PT or FT with varying productivity expectations. Requires MSW/LISW or LPC licensure; supervisory designation welcomed. Emphasizes faith-based values and teamwork in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Master's level Social Worker (LSW) or Counselor (LPC) with independent licensure preferred.
• Supervisory designation welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or family mental health counseling according to client treatment plans.
• Complete MHAs and accurate mental health diagnoses.
• Develop and complete treatment plans (ITPs) with clients.
• Complete timely and well-written documentation; progress notes daily or within 24 hours for billing.
• Participate in peer/case review, supervision, and quality improvement activities.
• Adhere to CCHO’s faith-based values and code of conduct; TEAM first.

PT or FT positions with varying productivity expectation options available.

Requirements

• Master's level Social Worker (LSW) or Master's level Counselor (LPC), with independent licensure preferred (LISW or LPCC, respectively).
• Supervisory designation also welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Complete timely and well-written documentation. Progress notes should be completed and signed daily, or within 24 hours for billing purposes.
• Participate in Peer/case review, supervision, and other quality improvement activities.

INDCCHENCE

This position is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background check and drug test, satisfactory reference checks (emails were previously sent to the 3 references listed on your application), as well as the completion of a satisfactory Department of Justice National Sex Offender search and Ohio Alleged Perpetrator Search, as required by our licensing agency.
