Job summary

Laurel Life seeks a School Based Therapist to deliver individual and group therapy to students in elementary through high school settings. The role includes classroom observations, ongoing parent communication, and comprehensive clinical documentation.

The therapist will collaborate with district staff, participate in IEP meetings, and contribute to treatment plans and progress reporting while integrating trauma-informed care and ESPI techniques.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a clinical field is required.
• Licensure such as LCSW/LCPC/LSW/LMSW is preferred.
• Specialized training in resiliency and trauma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy to students.
• Lead therapeutic group sessions for students with behavioral or therapeutic issues.
• Conduct classroom observations.
• Maintain weekly communication with parents/guardians.
• Complete clinical documentation.
• Consult with school personnel on strategies for student support.
• Participate in IEP and other team meetings; develop treatment plans and progress notes.
• Support district goals and provide staff trainings on resiliency and behavioral interventions.
