Job summary

Southwest Behavioral & Health Services is seeking a School/Community Therapist to deliver solution-focused counseling to youth in Deer Valley and surrounding communities. The role combines school-based offices with in-home and community services, including intakes, assessments, and treatment planning.

Responsibilities include case management, collaboration with school staff, and leading psychosocial groups. Eligible for PTO, holidays, and comprehensive benefits as part of SB&H’s supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Master’s degree in Behavioral Health (Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work)
• 1 year of full-time behavioral health experience preferred
• Fingerprint clearance by AZ DPS or eligible within 8 weeks of hire
• 3 weeks of PTO your first year with accruals
• 10 paid holidays

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy and clinical case management for a full caseload of students and/or families.
• Develops and maintains intakes, assessments, and treatment plans.
• Maintains documentation per SB&H clinical standards.
• Collaborates with school administrators, social workers, and teachers to meet client needs.
• Coordinates community resources with clinical staff and other human service professionals.
• Leads psychosocial education groups and implements prevention programs.
