Job summary

Advanced Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking licensed mental health therapists to provide consultation and advocacy, program development, and therapy services to students and families within Prince George's County Public Schools.

ABH emphasizes wraparound treatment, offering Psychiatry, Off-Site Counseling, On-Site therapy, and Therapeutic Mentoring. Sign-On bonuses up to $5,000–$6,000 for bilingual Spanish candidates; compensation ranges from $63,500 to $85,000 based on licensure and experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related discipline.
• Licensed in Maryland as LMSW, LGPC, LCPC, or LCSW-C.
• Minimum 2 years of counseling experience in an urban school setting.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to conduct clinical interviews and write social history evaluations.
• Ability to administer, interpret, and analyze related assessment instruments.
• Cultural sensitivity to diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation to school staff and parents to facilitate student educational, social, and emotional growth.
• Coordinate with RTI team to develop plans of assistance for students at risk.
• Maintain contact with referral sources and collaborate with treatment team.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students in Prince George’s County Schools.
• Coordinate design and implementation of behavior intervention plans and assessments.
