Job summary

Professional Services Group provides school-based therapy in Wisconsin through district partnerships. The School-Based Therapist will deliver individual and group therapy, family therapy as needed, and collaborate with school personnel within K-12 settings.

Part-time role with potential to grow into full-time as caseload develops, with travel to multiple schools in Washington County, West Allis/West Milwaukee, and Walworth County areas. Mileage reimbursement and flexible hours are offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling or social work is required.
• Licensure to practice in Wisconsin (LPC or LCSW) is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the therapeutic needs of clients and complete formal assessments.
• Create and review client treatment plans.
• Provide psychotherapy in accordance with the child's treatment plans.
• Intervene in emergencies/crises as an advocate for clients.
• Organize and facilitate structured group, individual and/or family activities.
• Provide consultation to the child's school and school personnel as needed.
• Coordinate services and maintain communication with all service providers involved.
