Job summary

Life Help in Cleveland, MS is seeking an experienced licensed therapist to join a diverse clinical team delivering comprehensive community-based mental health and substance abuse services.

The role involves developing treatment strategies within a therapeutic milieu, providing therapy in school and home settings, and coordinating with case managers and families to support clients' needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work or DMH Certification/Licensure as Therapist
• Eligible to meet DMH Certification/Licensure requirements for Therapist
• Valid Mississippi Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• To develop and provide appropriate treatment strategies within a therapeutic milieu.
• Provide therapy in school and home settings (individual, group, school based, family and day treatment if applicable).
• Provide referral to services that may benefit the consumer, consumer’s family and/or school personnel.
• Establish weekly meetings with case manager(s).
• Serve as liaison between student, home, school, and community resources such as family service agencies, child guidance clinics, courts, protective services, doctors, local MAP teams and clergy members.
