Job summary

Intermountain Children's Home is hiring a School-Based Therapist in East Helena, MT. You will provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy for children and families in a supportive, values-driven environment.

Requirements include a sixty-credit master's degree in Counseling or MSW with clinical focus, LCPC/LCSW licensure or candidacy, at least two years of relevant experience, training in attachment theory and trauma-informed care, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Sixty credit Master's Degree from an Accredited University in Professional Counseling, Master's in Social Work with focus on Clinical Social Work or Psychological Counseling.
• Licensed or Licensure Candidate licensed by the State of Montana's Board of Behavioral Health as an LCPC or LCSW.
• Two years' experience with adults and children preferred.
• Training in attachment theory and trauma-informed care.
• Must possess or maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, review, and execute individual, conjoint, and family psychotherapy.
• Facilitate or co-facilitate therapeutic groups on a variety of topics; provide in-service trainings on treatment.
• 1:1 mentorship with experienced pediatric mental health therapists (Licensed Therapist).
• Collaborate with behavioral health support staff to help clients express needs through healthy relationships.

• For Licensed Therapist: Have an opportunity to gain leadership skills by training and supervising approved graduate level interns.

Qualifications:

• Sixty credit Master's Degree from an Accredited University in Professional Counseling, Master's in Social Work with focus on Clinical Social Work or Psychological Counseling.
• Licensed or a Licensure Candidate licensed by the State of Montana's Board of Behavioral health as an LCPC or LCSW.
• Two (2) years' experience with adults and children before or following completion of Master's degree preferred.
• Training and/or experience in attachment theory, attachment-based therapeutic approaches, and trauma informed care.
• Must possess or maintain a valid driver's license.
