Job summary

Centerstone is seeking a school-based mental health therapist to provide therapy to middle and high school students in Macon County. You will conduct intake assessments, diagnose, formulate treatment plans, and deliver therapy in-person or virtually while maintaining thorough documentation and supervision communication.

Requires a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, MH Counseling, or Social Work, with license-eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• Clinical treatment and treatment planning
• Appraisal and assessment of mental disorders
• Use of the DSM for diagnostic purposes in clinical settings
• Clinical internship or practicum in behavioral health

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to students in a school setting
• Formulate a diagnosis after intake assessment
• Create and update treatment plans according to policy
• Deliver therapy services based on clinical needs and diagnosis
• Respond to urgent care situations and other clinical needs
• Maintain timely clinical documentation and keep supervisor informed
• Demonstrate good clinical judgment in client care
