Job summary

Life Help is seeking a qualified Therapist to join our experienced team in Mississippi. The role involves developing and delivering therapy within a therapeutic milieu, across school and home settings, and coordinating with case managers and community resources to support students and families.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in counseling/psychology/social work or a DMH-approved related field, is eligible for DMH certification/licensure, and holds a valid Mississippi driver’s

Qualifications

Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work or DMH approved related field.
Eligible to meet DMH Certification/Licensure requirements for Therapist.
Valid Mississippi Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Develop and provide appropriate treatment strategies within a therapeutic milieu.
Provide therapy in school and home settings (individual, group, school based, family and day treatment if applicable).
Establish weekly meetings with case manager(s).
Serve as liaison between student, home, school, and community resources such as family service agencies, child guidance clinics, courts, protective services, doctors, local MAP teams and clergy members.
