Job summary

Life Help in Mississippi is seeking a licensed or licensure-eligible therapist to join our clinical team. The role focuses on providing therapy in school and home settings, delivering treatment plans within a therapeutic milieu, and coordinating with case managers and community resources.

The position requires a Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work or a DMH approved related field, and a valid Mississippi Driver's License.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work or DMH approved related field.
• Eligible to meet DMH Certification/Licensure requirements for Therapist.
• Valid Mississippi Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide appropriate treatment strategies within a therapeutic milieu.
• Obtain Therapist certification or license as required by the DMH and maintain in good standing.
• Provide therapy in school and home settings (individual, group, school-based, family, and day treatment as applicable).
• Provide referrals to services benefiting the consumer, family, and school personnel.
• Establish weekly meetings with case managers and liaise with resources (families, schools, courts, MAP teams, clergy).
